Ready. Set. Polish.

The concept of a self-published (because realistically we probably wouldn’t get a professional publisher to publish it, at least not at first) anthology of therian-related works has recently been floating around the Werelist. The dominant model being suggested appears to be to comb through everything (probably while taking things submitted for consideration) and select the best stuff.

Given that I would like to submit something, but my writing is probably not polished enough to make it in, I believe it is time to go over my stuff again. Which means, basically, that I have the following projects related to writing:

1. Finish rewriting “Anomalous Forces on Evolution” for the Wanderer’s Library.
2. Finish rewriting “Vultures” for the Wanderer’s Library.
3. Substantially polish “Motionless Claws” and “Therianthropy as a Result Rather Than a Process.” Also possibly polish “Kin,” “Choice,” and anything else possible.
4. Rewrite “Street Cat.”
5. Show people the latest draft of Dunes of the Variforms.
6. Add a bibliography to those essays that have inline citations.

I’m going, over the next month or so (I hope), to post my older essays with what I think are the weaknesses, and invite detailed critique from anyone who wants to give it.

The whole thing got me thinking about some writings I've half-done or conceptualized without putting to paper/Word document, too.
