TOFUREKY!!

I think I've fallen in love.
Not with an attractive sentient, but with this delicious miracle from heaven known as 'tofurkey'.
In other news, I recently got a ton of art back (and graded), so it should start to be uploaded in. My next art project is of Sekhmet, preferably standing in front of a sea of red beer. And I've found some interesting science projects that I should be able to do in my spare time.

And it has the texture of meat, too (as best I can remember it). Makes it even better.

Date: 2012-03-22 06:32 am (UTC)The Tofurky Italian sausages are amazing. I sometimes just eat them straight. I used to know an omnivore who liked them better than regular sausages, because they're more flavorful and have a better texture with less gristle (plus they're lower in fat).

Though it may have been a different sort. SmartDogs or something.

Date: 2012-03-22 10:21 pm (UTC)I've been a vegetarian for pretty much all my life, although the person I possessed was an omnivore when I found him. >.>b He liked a roughly 3:1 ratio of side dishes to meat dishes though.

Date: 2012-03-23 12:05 am (UTC)At the time I just knew I felt different. It was like my whole outlook on life had changed. I felt like I'd woken up; I started half-seriously counting my life from the time that I noticed the change. Telling myself it was okay that I hadn't found ways to support myself yet when I'd only been alive 1-2 years.
Later on when I discovered my kitsune nature and was reading about Inari, I also found out about fox possession. Some of the descriptions I read of what it was like, in the abstract, reminded me of what I'd been through. It's not like the modern medical condition or most of the legends, but ... I still find it a useful way of understanding myself and what's happened to me.
