They shouldn't have, but of course consulting this, or actually thinking about the matter beyond the fearmongering of those who think that any departure from their vaunted 'humanity' renders someone either into a mindless entity or Cthulhu (but never the Elder Gods), would ruin their precious... I don't even have a good word for it.
