Went down to Jefferson City yesterday to get a bunch of plants. Spider lily, dwarf iris, blue-eyed grass... unfortunately all the prickly pear was gone. Did you know prickly pear grows in Missouri? I didn't until recently. In any event, I'll be busy planting for the foreseeable future, and with the mulch hopefully I won't have to weed nearly as much next year.

Yeah right.

On the way back we stopped for dinner, which was absolutely delicious and involved crepes and quiche. On the way there in the first place I got an album by Bramble, which is absolutely fantastic.

In my random wanderings of the Internet I have come across Mahayana Buddhism, much of which it appears I already believed in. Or stuff that is similar in many respects, at any rate.

Life has been rather god to me over the past few days. Conversations have been rather stimulating, intellectually, and I've got things to work on--and I'm making visible progress (mostly on AnOtherWiki, but in other areas as well, like the Winds of Change story). I finished adding a glass bead to the staff I've been working on. It's been rather warm. And I finally got as much sleep as I could possibly want.

Passover has started, which is the holiday where Jews eat matzah to remind ourselves how much it has historically sucked to be Jewish, just in case we ever forgot. There's also some social justice overtones that have been added recently.
